how exactly does that work?

can we suggest discussions that r really old that were eally good to go in there?

If it works anything like the last one did (on the EzBoard) then what ever the Admins/Mods deem old and in the way in terms of thread wise will be sent to that area. It's normally a Admin/Mod decided thing, and by normally I mean always.

The archived area was created when the board was on EzBoard. Any topic going after the 20th page was automatically deleted. I didn't want to lose interesting discussions just because they are old. So this archived discussion forum was created. It also serve another purpose; someone new to the site seeking information would probably appreciate to have a quick access to the best topics without having to browse the entire forum and looking for them.

As for what qualify to be moved there, it's a mod/admin but at the end of the year I may ask people to browse the forum and make suggestions on what topic should be ennobled.
