Hey Temp, I was wondering, you know how everyone has these specaile names to go with their stat, could i get one? and if I can, can I get it to say Godsin Queen?

I assume you are referring to the names under your registered name and the moving icon. All of those were created By Tempest in his (I'm assuming) spare time, but maybe he did them during class while not paying attention and stilled passed with a 110%.

Anyway, to answer your question those names are basically a way of counting your posts. I think once you hit 10 or something around there, you become an egg, and 30 you do something else, and so on. So the only way for them to change is to post. I'm not sure if there are custom titles on this board or not if that is what you were asking. The only thing they effect is how much you can post a day.

EDIT: Just so I can be a jerk, this really belongs in the Mod and Admin forum as this requires an admin.

Tempest isn't going to see this in here because it's not a forum he moderates closely. You should really post one in the Mod and Admin forum, but I'll let him know you asked when I talk to him next. :-)

He's working pretty hard on new layouts for the board and other techie stuff to make our lives easier, however, so you might have to wait. I'm not sure if he can customize names with phpBB boards...

it's Ok really, it's not really that big of an issue! I don't want to bother 'em if he's bussy right now!

Interesting thing to ask. I don’t think that we are the correct people to ask, but look at it this way. If you have more than 5 hours that you don't have to do something, or a task does not occupy them, then yes. That's how I measure it.

There is actually two different system that manage the title/rank under your name. As Alorith said, the first one is automatic and depend on how many posts you have made on these forums. The other is the custom title, available on request (in the Mods and Admins forum). I will make a thread about this in the near future.

However, I am not taking requests for custom titles at this moment since I still have my hands full with fixing bugs on this forum, making security audits and trying to make everything work nicely. I hope you understand.


As a side note: It was Kayla who did the little icons associated with the title
