a friend of mine was told to come on here and spam but then he figured that he shouldnt have been banned!!!

I do not make a habit of banning people. Usually if there is something I don't like, I edit the post or I lock the thread. While looking around for this, I found that the IP was banned on Sat Sep 24, 2005 at 8:26 am by Admin, no reason given.

However, IP on the ban list deserve careful consideration as the person either disregarded more than just one warning and kept breaking an important rule in a way that an Admin had to pull the plug on that user. In this case since no reason was given, that person has probably proven that the sole purpose of his/her presence here was to spam or troll the board. It was considered obvious enough back then to not put a detailed reason as to why to add the IP on the ban list.

So you may as well explain the whole story (preferably using private messages) because I will only remove IP from the ban list if:
:arrow: The ban no longer apply to the intended person. Example: you invite someone to spend a week-end at your house, that person find your bookmarks and decide to spam and troll a few boards while posting as an anonymous user. Assuming that this person left your house, the ban no longer serve a real purpose.
:arrow: The banned IP involve a large ISP like AOL or a whole school or library network. In this case, the ban can be lifted to allow legitimate users to post here.
:arrow: Others reasons that are considered on a case by case basis.

in his own words:_____ told me to go on a site i didnt know (dragnix) and say some bad stuff , he said nothing would happen, but then i got banned and its _____ fault. then i saw what it was after i posted the things i did, but couldnt delete them cos i was a guest,_____ had a f*****g plan going for him and bobbeh.

Right so he was told by someone *unamed* to go to a strange site and post bad stuff, then he decided hey they arent here to tell me what to say so I may as well edit and be nice? Then they complain they got banned because they posted bad stuff, someone told them to just because someone told them to...seems a bit ridiculous to me...but thats just me.

My point was the person who did whatever they did sounds rather ridiculous, and its probably not helping their chances of gettign back and made them look just plain idiotic...did you not read my post at all? In any event thats not the issue here...*shrugs*

I was on MSN messenger and was given a link by another user from this site that i am friends with. He said Go on this site please. Or something like that. I asked what it was. He said it doesnt matter. Just go on [insert forum here] and post saying [insert member here] is a [insert insult here]
I think it was something like Tempest is a dick or something?
I did so and kept posting in a few topics. I was told to stop but i didnt so and carried on. i was warned as a guest then had my IP banned. The person who told me to do this was online at the time and was denying that he had told me to do this.
I myself was quite new to forums at the time and was pretty annoying not on this forum but others too. ><
I didnt even know about the forum and now the user tells me about it and i want to join.
I have so and im currently on a library computer. I really want to join in on this forum and the roleplaying eventually. I think the person wanted me to get banned so i couldnt see the things he and another user where saying to eachother.

Thats my plea.
