Song of Regeneration(The Present)

The group was found by a resident pack of wolves. They carried them back to their cave and placed them together on a pile of deer-hides. The cave is moist but warm and seems to be a good place to rest, but what are the intentions of the wolves?

Seraphine woke to a cold-wet nose in her armpit. She made the little girly eep that she didn't like. It was a wolf. It noticed that she awoke but didn't attack. It was a wolf-pup. Seraphine smiled like a goof and cooed at it.

"Awwww, itza coot lil woof-up!!" she squealed slightly and cuddled it. More wolf pups appeared and walked over to the group. They seemed to be interested in most of them, but eventually crawl over to Sera and nuzzle her leg. She seemed to be drowning in a pool of fur. Other pups licked the other unconcious people to wake them.

A red wolf with white markings padded into the cave. He noticed the pups near the group and growled softly. The pups got up and ran out of the cave. The wold then padded up to Sera and sniffed her face. She remained perfectly still. The wolf sneezed and laid down at her ankles. She stroked it behind the ear and looked around the cave.

Mia woke up and stretched. Once again it seemed that sera had got them captured. Though this time it seemed that they were not tied and gaged. When she looked around the cave she saw that sera was awake and had a red wolf laying at her feet. This wolf looked erieely familar.

Standing up she walked over to the wolf. AT this point the wolf sat up. She squatted down and looked into the wolfs eyes, they told her the truth. "Talestion?" She questioned the wolf. The wolfs eyes flashed. A half naked man wearing not much else than a pair of deer hide shorts and a deer hide west stood up, A beautiful red spear on his bac.

" Mia it is good to see you again. I take it these are the friends i have heard so much about?" The wolf questioned.

"Um..." Mia said dumb struck that her brother knew about their journey. " Uh YEA! " She said looking at him almost mezmerized that her younger brother was so much older and had become so much more mature. " So um how have you been?" She said surprised that he had his own pack now.

" Oh im doing great and now that i have found you we can go find everyone else!" He said getting excited.

Thea shook her head and wiped wolf slobber off of her face. "Gross little things. Cute but gross." She looked at her white jacket and clothes. They were dirty and covered with a number of dirt and grass stains. "Damn," she whispered, "this really sucks."
Looking up, she saw a red wolf turn into a man and Thea barely suppressed a squeak of suprise. Why had that startled her? She'd seen it before. "Great," she mumbled, "Once more in the company of Wolf-Mages."

Brothorn slowly opened one eye and looked around.
Oh, no. . .He thought to himself. He had awoke beside none other than Thea. Luckily, her back was turned to him. Maybe she hadn't noticed him. He slowly slid away from her. He looked in the direction that she was looking in. There was a man talking to the girl named Mia. Brothorn checked the rest of his surroundings. He was in a cave, and he could see a few wolf-pups.

" Your half right thea..." Mia pointed out angrly. " He is my brother." She said glareing. " You need to get that right..." Causenow that we have found one of the packs it means we can ask for help and they can help us!"She said pulling seraphine to her feet.

"What do you mean half right? He's a werewolf! You're both mages." Thea's eyes suddenly widened. "That's how you know Iyrius!" she screamed. "Oh, i am so DUMB! I thought you were his lover or something. Which is absolutely silly, seeing as that position is already held by me!"

"Man you dont no how far from the truth you are...." She said crossing her arms.

In unison both mia and talestion Droped their arms to their sides and said " We are not mages we are warriors of the most noble wolf pack the world has ever seen!" They said drawing their weapons. Mia said I am the weilder of the blade of blue fire! Turluin!." She said makeing her blade burst into flame.

" I am the weilder of the war scared lance Einharger!" he said makeing his weapon flash in the sunlight.

"We may use magic doesnt mean we are apart of the wolf mages guild!" They said once again in unison

" So before you go and place a title on us get your info straight!" Mia said replaceing her sword back into its scabbard.

Thea glared at the two werewovles. "Well sorrrrrrrry! I was under the impression that a werewolf and a wolf-mage were the same thing! I would have the right info if SOME people were willing to give it to me!" She crossed her arms.

Tamien woke up to find her face being licked.
"Ewww...geroff.."She opened her eyes and found herself looking directly into a pair of amber wolf eyes.A wolf cub.
"awwww!you're so cute!"she squeaked,picking up the little cub and hugging it.

At this point Talestion redirected. Looking at Tamien he said, " Careful," he said squatting down next to pretty woman. " They bite. Not hard mind you. But it can get pretty annoying." He said smileing.

Mia on the other hand was still argueing with thea." What do you mean? Justy because i wouldnt tell you where i knew iyrius from? DO you really wanna know?!" She yelled?

Sera got to her feet gracefully and turned to help the others up. She glanced at Tellision and tried to gather her thoughts.

"So...what exactly happened that split up your pack?" she asked directing the question to both Mia and her brother.

"Oh, no! Another argument," Brothorn mumbled. But he stayed out of the way all the same. He didn't want to draw attention to himself. He was enjoying the little bit of personal peace.

"Ill tell you!!! But first you tel me your relationship with him!!!!" Mia screamed right back In theas face. Lungeing at her ready to kill her she was stoped by Tellision when he grabed her arms and stoped her from attacking thea. " Come on tell me!! Is it really that painful for you?!"

"Fine, i'll tell you Miss Piss! We were lovers! He has a daughter named Katheen! Then he got called off on some mission from his Order and he said he'd come back for me! He said he'd come back and we'd get married! But he didn't come back for five months and his Order told me he was dead!!"

" Oh my god..." she said tears raiseing to her eyes. " I am so sorry..." She said remembering the deep feeling they had felt for eah other. " I never knew that he still loved you....i feel horrible" she said cradleing her face in her hands.

Brothorn was shocked. Thea was a mom? And now, she was crying! He felt sorry for her. For her lost. He knew what it was to lose someone. He wanted to console her, but he still didn't want to call attention to himself. Choices, choices. He finally decided to wait to hear what Mia had to say.

Seraphine tried to smooth things over. She stepped between the two girls and acted as an arbiter.

"Alright, we all understand each other now. Thea your part is done, Mia, now is the time for you to share. All of what has happened from Iyrius to the point you re-met up with me in the dungeon."

She went over and stood next to Brothorn.

"I hope you are unhurt?" she whispered quietly as she turned her attention towards Mia.

"Um...Brothorn?" she asked tentatively. "As long as its sharing time, could you explain to me exactly what those markings are on your back?"
