You have been at a campsite for the past day, seeing other adventures show up for their chance at finding the riches of the Tomb. And you have also had the chance to see a lone human come back from the Tomb saying something about quitting all of this and going to work back at his family farm. You have talked with some others who were looking for other party members, and decided to join. You head towards the area where the tomb is....... A low, flat-topped hill, about 200 yards wide and 300 yards long, protrudes from the earth. Ugly weeds, thorns, and briars grow upon the steep sides and bald top of the 60-foot-high mound. Black rocks crown the hilltop Strangely as you look at it, the hill looks like a great human skull becomes apparent, with the piles of rock appearing as eye holes, nose hole, and the jagged teeth of a grinning death’s head. as you began to search around the hill you reach the north end...... The north side of the hill is fronted by a 20-foothigh crumbling cliff of sand and gravel. A low stone ledge overhangs this eroded area, and shrubs and bushes obscure it from observation at a distance. The area of sand and gravel is about 140 ft wide, with some worn digging equipment laying half buried at points. You know the entrance is somewhere under all of that but where?...... (so get to know each other and work out how and where you want to search.) |

OOC: Alright, black text is action or other such. Blue text is speech. IC: Gorinath walks slowly, looking at the cliff and noticing the shovels, picks and other various digging tools buried in the sand. He shifts his ax to his left hand then picks up a shovel and turns to the group. Looks like we might have to do some digging. Anyone have an idea where to start? I figure we ought to fan out and maybe do a sweep of the area. Maybe one of us will trip over something useful. |

Kira steps forward from the group and looks at the man. I think spreading out around this area is the best idea, Gorinath, it would be easier to find an entrance with all of us looking over a wide area. She picks up a rusty spade, the other tools are in similar condition. But everyone should be careful of these digging tools, dont cut yourself with them or trip on them, you'll get rust poisoning! Kira walks to the side of Gorinath and starts to dig in spaceous part. OOC: we can all talk while we are digging, get to know others better, when they get here... |

Liorka walks up sees what everyone is doing and head to a thicket of thorns on the east side. Liorka does not like to dig she prefers to burn things after making sure everyone is a good distance away she burns the thicket to the ground with magic and starts moving rubble around the same way Hey guys if you need something burnt down call me over |

Kira heard Liorka faintly as she was too absorbed in her digging and her thoughts. She had decided to dig in the center of the area. She looked over to where Gorinath was digging, then the painful memories arose within her again... Gorinath reminded her of her father. She tried to forget about it, and concentrate on digging, but then she noticed Gorinath's tattoo. As casually as she could she asked; Does that tattoo mean anything? |
