For a while

Hey guys, just a note to fill you in on what's up.

So, Ex and I haven't been on much lately. You all know why he hasn't, but I feel mine warrants an explanation. For the past couple of months, my grandfather's health has been deteriorating. Rapidly. Understandably, I haven't really been much in mood to pop on the board and role play. I mean, a part of me knows that I need to get my mind of stuff, but it's hard to be creative when you've got this level of stress. That being said... he passed away last night...

So for at least the next week or so, I'm not going to be on. We're trying to figure out stuff for the funeral and everything else, and additionally, I just have no energy at this point, or the focus, really, with which to write. So for the moment (about a week or so) my threads are on hold. Those of you with whom I am working on other threads... I'll see what I can do. But I apologize ahead of time if I can't get something up.

I'm sorry for your loss, I remember when my grandpa died... It was a rough period for me. I hope your grief will be replaced with fond memories of your time spent together. Wish you well

I don't think anybody will judge you for taking time off this forum for something as serious.

I agree with Sholl, nobody here will judge you for being away for something as important as this.

getting to know yous will come later when yur feeling better. I'll keep you in my thoughts, and I'm sure everyone here is avalible to talk with you if you need someone to talk to.

I've been through that experience before, and I fully understand taking some time off. Take as long as you need. Everything will still be here, waiting on you. The loss of a loved one definitely takes precedent over a simple forum.

Hey ya'll, I'm back! If we could get the threads going again, that'd be great. I'll be posting in Secrets at some point soon, and Ersska, Drakel, if ya'll could post in Children we can get this going again. I'm ready to get some work done- takes my mind off things, and also gives me something to practice with, lol.
