at last, someone actually submitted a picture! :D

Sparrow - bravo!! you have an excellent way of showing the scales and arrogant expressions on them. i can suggest a few tips, seeing as you asked.

The muscles could possibly be defined more, after all, most dragons were actually quite lean.
Try to show more of the skeleton as well - for example, showing slight bumps where the bones are on the elbows.
otherise, all together well constructed!

Very, VERY nice...

My favorites were the even numbered ones (2 & 4)...

I wish I could figure out how to put pictures on this conflabed picture box, then I could show my stuff...

Not bad, not bad at all. I liked them. The scales and the feet are nice. I can't do either one very well. So, kudos' to you. Good job. Give yourself a pat on the back.

Thank You all for kind words and suggestions. During a long and boring lecture I took the pencil into hand and thats what happened later...

Dragon 06

I've tried to follow Your tips about muscles, but I'am not quite sure if it worked out in the end.

"I will poke you to death! Mwahahaha!"

Another good job. I like the wings on this one. The graph paper throws me off a bit, though. The extended arm looks a little funky to me. Either the wrist is too thick or the hand is too small. I think it's the latter.

I knew ther was something wrong with that arm but I couldn't figure it out... Well, as it goes to the graph paper, most of my drawings are made during lectures at the university, sometimes I have to do a little 'make-up' after scaningin the picture, becouse my lecture notes get all around it... ( for example in picture n.3 between the wing-thumbs  )

Well, number seven its on its way... I decided to experiment with hands and legs a little (damn... my rubber officially hates me and I still dont like he's left hand  ) Just take a look and tell what's Your impression on this one.

PS. He's not very friendly, but at least he didn't get he's hands dirty... It's not true that dragons are unable to use tools.

I think the neck and chest are disproportionate to the rest of the dragon. They seem too big. The chest needs to be a little flatter and the neck a little slimmer and maybe not so long. The other side of the face (turned away from the veiwer) seems a little funky. Other than that, it's a good picture. I love the claws and especially the wings and the underbelly scales. You do a good job on all three.

In my opinion chest is ok, but now when I took a longer while to look on it I agree that neck could be just a little shorter and slimer. At the other hand mayby If I had made he's tail a bit thiker and longer it would have balanced the whole thing... Nevertheles, I'll keep all Your suggestions in mind and mayby make use of them in the future :D
Thanks to all.

Sorry for keep You waiting, tommorow I got two exams so "in front of the screen" is the last place I should be in right now, but what the hell...  Next problem - with computer, currently my scanner is off-line so I took a picture of my picture - I'll replace it with the proper quality scan as soon as possible.
Now about the picture... I didn't managed to improve muscles on this one, there are few things about dragon itself and the "other" object I dont like, but i couldn't resist drawing this scene :P

Enjoy Dragon 09 - beta version

Now I'am gone for a while... See You! :D

Oooooo, me likey. The wings are fantastic. The back claws are a little off, though. Good job on the plane. I love the clouds. And I also like the contrast between the main figures and the background. I love the dragon's expression. It's a mixture of surprise and anger. I can just picture the dragon bursting full speed ahead, rolling and diving and zig-zagging, trying to lose the plane. Then, when that fails, he turns and takes down the plane with burst of fire. Or better yet, grips it with his claws and starts to dive towards earth, letting the plane go at the last minute. . .Does the pilot make it? I think that should be your next pic.

HE HE HE, i like how the dragon is shown wiht the plane. it gives a modern day twist to a otherwise medeavil(sp?) picture. i can imagine the dragon sending the plane into the viod(my views on dragon magick ignore if u want)

Aw, man! That's HI-larious!! I like the little dude high-tailing it down the hill. I was wondering where the fourth one was. I found him a few seconds later in the tree. Funny, funny. I think this is the best one yet.

Oh, by the way, good job on the dragon. I particularly like the wings and the tail on this one. Especially the tail.
