Would be grateful if anyone could help me to trace a picture which I have firmly in my memory from childhood.
It was a large paintingl that was on my grandma's wall for may years until it disappeared.

It was a large long panarama of a picture, on the right edge of the picture was the head profile of the Black Knight and to the left edge of the picture was the head of a Red Dragon. The middle section looked to me like tree trunks in a large forest.

I have tried on numerous occasions to try and find a copy of this picture but have had no success. Seem to recall a name of E Baker for Baxter may have been the artist.

If anyone can help me, I would be very grateful.

I think I may know what your talking about. There's three different paintings that sound like the one your talking about:

1) Fafner and Sigurd, by Ciruelo http://www.dac-editions.com/dragonj.htm

2) Golden Dragon, by Ciruelo http://www.dac-editions.com/dragonl.htm

3) Tristan, again, by Ciruelo http://www.dac-editions.com/dragonn.htm

Although the tristan on is very similar, these are too modern. The picture I am thinking of would have been perhaps l940s/50s or maybe earlier considering it was my grandmothers.

I very good attempt though, and very much appreciated.

Thank you...
