What are the types of Dragons? What makes them diffrent? I am just trying to find out about dragons here.

Wyvern: a large footed dragon with a tremendous wingspan and no front legs.

front legs? How does it walk? or does it walk like humans?

Wyverns walk on their hind legs, like large birds (ostritch, emu).

Lyndwyrms aren't really just giant serpents, because they have two front legs. Other names: Linnorm, Lindworm

What makes dragons different is that each dragon lives in a different place so over the years they have adapted to their own personal area so they now look different and act different. They all change coler and size over the years.

If your want to know all of the types of dragons that there are, I can give you all of the info you need. I have studied the legends and all of the crap that comes with it.

I will start out by telling you that the wyvern, like you said, has 2 powerful hind legs, and is supposed to live in africa, eating elephant, rhinos, and all the rest of those african herbivores.

Then there is the European dragon, that has 4 legs, and has 2 large wings. It lives on shores, and eats cattle, and sheep, etc. And that one is my favorite.

Also, is the Marsupial dragon. It looks like a kangoroo, and it has 2 small wings. (So in cant fly. In just hops.) And it also has a pouch where it carries it's young.

The better question is are you wanting to know about dragons of myth or dragons of fiction. Remember almost all dragons after Tolkein's writtings are dragons of fiction, that is made up from the writers mind. And either way this link will help you.

And my friend, would you mind posting a link to the "Marsupial" dragon. Because inless the dragon gave birth to live young a pouch would be useless for them. You do know what a marsupial's pouch is used for right?

Yes I know what the pouch is for! Im not a frikin retard!!!

So, please tell me why a dragon would have one. I do understand some reptiles do give birth to live young, but the thought of a dragon giving birth to a pinky is really far fetched. And giving it would have to climb the scales to reach a pouch, a large number of young will have to be born so at least one will survive. I really don't think a non-mammal will be able to do that. And seeing that most of the Australian and all of the American marsupials are slow moving creatures I still don’t see the possibility of a dragon like one.

And again I would like to see the evidence behind that.

the marsupial dragon has a pouch so that after the infant dragon is born, it can survive in it's mother's pouch!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then it is not a marsupial by the definition of a marsupial. It is like a duck or chicken who keeps its chicks under its wings. So once again do you know what the marsupial's pouch is for, and if so tell me? (hey I may be thinking the wrong thing and you will help me)

To compare this is what I was taught:
Marsupials are born in a premature state, and have to crawl all the way to the mothers pouch, and then have to find a nipple to feed from until it becomes large enough to live out side the poutch. And once that size it spends very little time in the pouch. Only going in to the pouch if the young feels in danger. And having seen opossums with young I believe it.

there is the wyvern, mongolian, tibetan, chinese, western/european, greek, north american, south american, sea serpent, there are beliefs that there was even a prehistoric dragon, the list is endless
