This is a fun one I have found.

A number of early "naturalists" wrote about how dragons would kill and eat elephants. And the kills were by constriction. But other than copying and pasting from the other site, check it out.

But my favorite part is how the panther can make a dragon run and hide due to the smell of its breath.

o_O I don't really see how a dragon would be afraid of a shadow of a tree and being afraid of a panther's breath.

HOWEVER I will agree with the theory that dragons use to eat elephants due to the fact that Elephants are big creatures that could give dragons allot of needed energy to survive ( possibly 3-6 Elephants would be good enough for a dragon)

It is great though. The books refrenced are some of the books used to show dragons are true creatures. And at the time were the best known facts about animal life around the world.
