There was no dragon vs dragon war, dragons are not the type to pick factions. The only "war" that happened was the clash of humanity and dragons, which sadly we won.

Actually, maybe not over peace and love but a war could have happened. Over lets say assisting us in advancing our technology, a war between dragons does make sence
