OK because i thought of this while reading these posts. By the way sorry if this removes all sources from validness. The knights did not run to the book writer, no they ran to the king, who probably gave them a celebratory parade, but while the parade was going on someone who was present when the knight gave his account went and told someone about it and that person or some one else wrote the story. So unless your sources say translated by: author original story by: knight something or other, the account is useless

ok! I sed AND MORE sorces. witch means more than what I posted. honestly would you think I would post all my sorces. 8) So there is no way you could have red evry website that has to do with dragons.
also I did not say I 100% agree with evry website. I put the info of evry website into an imige of a dragon and what it would look like. H :swear: l right now I am puting all of your Ideas on dragons into my ideas. more info you give me the more easyer it will be to help my own idea of dragons.

Lower the claws Drak I said if and appologised before hand that statement was ment to merely reference how inaccurrate some of the sources may be and why so that was not implying that i had read every website on dragons. But you did mention wiki which i am sad to say is not reliable when it comes to "mythical" creatures

PS Drak is, im sorry, the best you get from me because i have friends that have similar nicknames or i have said name

Drakes, to be citable in science, sources must meet certain requirements. Wikipedia is a very poor source, to be used only for preliminary research, because with very little accountability, just about anyone can edit it. Any astrology books are usually focused on the mystical aspects of dragons, and scientific correctness is at best a secondary consideration.

dragonmaster, even the original accounts by the knight in question or his chronicler are suspect at best. Plus, imagine that you are facing a very large, very mad creature that is spitting jets of flame at you and trying its very best to separate your various limbs from their attachments. What are your chances, while fighting it, that you will correctly count the number of fingers and toes it has, assuming your scientific background and inclination consists of hoping the planets are in the right alignment?
Now ask yourself what the odds are of you remembering to tell the chronicler how many fingers and toes it had, assuming you noticed.

agian. I know wiki is not a reliable sorce but it did started the reson why I want to know dragons in the first place. If I never went on wiki I would not be here today.
also yes books and legends are not the best sorce but still is the main way we can get info today. It puts the idea into your head and makes you try your best to see if it is possible.

I think what they are trying to relay to you is that there are no factual references to back up such an argument. Thus arguing on facts is pointless. All these discussions are based mostly on what we know about science, and what we suspect from observations of what past generations have shown us.
