Ok, this is a little old news but thought it would be a little fun with our "life outside the Earth" talks. This is a rather large planet but still may be a rocky world. And it is in the "just right" area to its sun to be a good timp for liquid water. But due to the closeness to its sun this planet will be tidally locked with its sun. But the twilight area may be right for life.

I still think there are way too many "ifs" to say anything in stone yet. But this may be the best chance to hold some type of life. Thought this is most likely a single celled sludge, it is still an amazing find.

That is a pretty cool find Vamp. Thanks for sharing. 8)

As you say, too many variables at the moment, but the idea that there are loads of them is quite amazing...

As far as space is concerned, nothing is put in to stone yet. Mankinds very understanding of physics is blown out of the water when the subject of space is brought up.

There could be tens of billions of these systems in our galaxy.

And yet the only remote prof we have of extraterrestial life is the Wow! signal. Perhaps space is too large for us to find one.

Sadly "WOW!!" was not repeatable. So it could have easily of been a glitch. But yea, it was one of the close ones. But the same can be said for pulsars before we understood them. They were called LGM objects (little green man), due to the regular blip they were sending out.

Perhaps WOW!, then, was merely a very large, very distant supernova/black hole collision? Or a distorted space-time afterglow of the big bang?

I imagine we shall have to create our own aliens, then. I reckon we could manage the bumpy forehead kind quite easily, with just a little gene tinkering... somatic, of course...

Conditional, of course, on my company getting the homeworld contracts for transportation and terraforming.
