I have never actually bobbed for apples....in water or caramel. Am I missing a huge cultural experience? or is it sort of like sledding on someone else's private property - fun if you do it, but not essential to life....
(btw i have never trespassed while sledding....ever....sure.)

I think it's more like sledding in general: An experience to which little equates, but which COULD be done without. You know, except in Canada.
